About Gearbox Gurus Guildford
Your Local Automatic Gearbox Specialists
Guildford drivers tend to be doing a mix of town driving and A3 commuting into London, which is a combination that's rough on a torque converter over time. We see a lot of that on the German autos coming out of Merrow and the university side of town, and a fair few CVT faults on cars from Godalming and the villages further out that cover big distances for the school run and work. Because Guildford's that bit further out, most of our customers here use the collection service rather than dropping the car off in person.
However the fault shows up, whether that's a warning light, a jolt on gear change or the car going into limp mode, we'll collect it, diagnose it properly and quote before we start.

Had a really great experience with these guys. Ross's technical knowledge shines through. It turns out the problem was coming from the ABS module and not the gearbox. They wouldn't accept any payment. Honest mechanics would use again.
