About Gearbox Gurus Hounslow
Your Local Automatic Gearbox Specialists
Hounslow's proximity to Heathrow means we collect a lot of high-mileage cars from the area, minicabs, airport parking runs, company fleet vehicles that rack up motorway miles fast. That kind of use is hard on a torque converter, and we regularly see early wear on the Fords, Vauxhalls and Toyotas that do the M4 and A4 corridor every day. Isleworth and Feltham drivers tend to bring us a similar mix, plus the odd German auto that's been serviced on a stretched interval.
If your gearbox is jolting between gears, slow to engage from a stop or has thrown a fault code, we'll collect it from anywhere in Hounslow, diagnose it properly and give you a straight answer on what it needs.

Had a really great experience with these guys. Ross's technical knowledge shines through. It turns out the problem was coming from the ABS module and not the gearbox. They wouldn't accept any payment. Honest mechanics would use again.
