About Gearbox Gurus Luton
Your Local Automatic Gearbox Specialists
A lot of the cars we collect from Luton have airport work behind them, minicabs, parking shuttle vehicles and cars that spend hours a day on the M1 doing the commute down into London. That kind of mileage is exactly what shortens the life of a torque converter, and it's a repair we do often for drivers from Dunstable and Harpenden as well as Luton itself. We also see the usual DSG mechatronic faults on newer VW Group cars that have been serviced everywhere except the gearbox.
We’ll pick the car up, diagnose and repair it, then bring it back to you.

Had a really great experience with these guys. Ross's technical knowledge shines through. It turns out the problem was coming from the ABS module and not the gearbox. They wouldn't accept any payment. Honest mechanics would use again.
